There is no benefit in the outer
skin which makes up a good percentage of the weight of the plant. Supplements
therefore using the whole plant are not giving you 100% of the Hoodia
that helps you to lose weight.
Our Hoodia only uses the core of the Hoodia which contains the so called
'magic molecule' which does the work.
Also genuine Hoodia Gordonii powder is in very short supply and so quite expensive. Cheaper Hoodia products are unlikely to contain 100% pure powder. Some companies are exploiting consumers by offering inferior product - even products with no Hoodia in them at all. If the price looks too good to be true - it will be.
Check for independent analysis of the Hoodia used in production. Plus expect to see a CITES certificate displayed. If neither of these itmes are readily on view, or the price seems too good to be true - move on.
We know of at least two web sites that claim to be independent 'reviewers' of Hoodia Gordonii supplements.
A small amount of research will reveal that one is operated by a supplement manufacturer (with their label coming at the top of the list). The other is run by a group of supplement manufacturers who again list their own sites before other so called 'authorised' web sites.

that affects more people than any other, a disease that can cause serious
medical conditions and early death. But if you are overweight or obese
- and in the UK only one in three adults isn't - you will know that the
negative effects are often more subtle, beginning with social ostracism
including lesser chances to find friends or a partner, and more difficulties
to climb up the career ladder.
